During the repair process, we often encounter the situation where the customer's inverter is damaged due to long time. It sounds incredible, but it is indeed a condition that often occurs. If the inverter is damaged due to improper storage, it will really affect the normal operation of the company. Then what precautions should we pay attention to when we leave the inverter in storage?
When the inverter is stored, it is placed in the packing box, and pay attention to the following matters:
1, it is best placed in a place without sunlight, dust, and dryness.
2, the storage location of the ambient temperature is best in the range of -20 to 40 degrees.
3. The relative humidity in the storage location is preferably in the range of 20% to 90%, and there is no condensation.
4. Avoid long-term storage in environments containing corrosive gases and liquids
5. Storage over a long period of time (2-3 years) will lead to deterioration of the electrolytic capacitor. By applying a voltage, the electrolytic capacitor can function as a repair of the electrolytic capacitor. If the voltage is deteriorated to some extent, it can be restored to its normal state. For long-term storage, power should be applied regularly (within 6 months), and the power-on time should be at least 5H. The input voltage should be ramped up to the rated value with a voltage regulator. If the storage period exceeds 10 years, the sealing rubber of the electrolytic capacitor will fail and the new product must be replaced.
Frequency converter requirements for the working environment:
In many cases, inverter damage is actually caused by unsatisfactory environmental conditions. In general, the environment in which the inverter is working satisfies the following requirements:
1, the ambient temperature is -10 ~ 40 degrees. When the temperature is higher than 40 degrees, the heat dissipation conditions deteriorate due to a decrease in temperature difference, and the derating is 2.5% (or 2%) for every 1 degree increase, and the maximum ambient temperature should not exceed 55 degrees.
2, the relative temperature of 20% to 90%, no condensation, no ice.
3, no dust, corrosive gases, combustible gases, direct sunlight.
4, the altitude is below 1000M, above 1000M, the derating is 1% for each 100M increase, and the maximum is less than 4000M. Above 1000M, the allowable value for each 1000M ambient temperature is decreased by 3.3 degrees.
5, vibration acceleration should be less than 0.6g.
